START investing in your future! By enrolling in the START (Skills, Tasks And Results Training) class at one of four Community School for Adults on Oahu, you will be trained in 12 areas of competency in the hotel industry. Upon successful completion of the class and passing a final exam you will be issued a voucher for line level certification in one of the areas of competency that you trained for. The schools that are participating are:
Moanalua Community School for Adults
Waipahu Community School for Adults
Kaimuki Community School for Adults
Farrington Community School for Adults

To avoid penalties and protect our oceans, the City and County of Honolulu Department of Environmental Services reminds you to:
1. Ensure that dumpsters are leak-proof with tight-fitting lids and are stored in covered locations.
2. Minimize watering of landscaped areas and prevent runoff using drip irrigation, soaker hoses or micro-spray systems.
3. Remove all debris from area before washing building exteriors or sidewalks and use filter fabric fences and sand bag barriers to protect storm drains.
4. Refrain from discharging parking lot wash water into the storm drain. Contact ENV for requirements.
Remember, these GUIDELINES HELP PREVENT VIOLATIONS OF THE CLEAN WATER ACT WHICH CAN RESULT IN FINES OF $25,000 PER VIOLATION, PER DAY!
